I dont see why people change heads and leave the cam stock anyways...kinda defeats the purpose imo...

I mean, think about it, those AFR's arent really making a huge difference in flow right now because looking at head flow numbers at .600 is pointless if your only opening the valves to .444...think about it...it makes sense..About the biggest thing he has going right now is the AFR's bigger valves helping the low end torque.

Thats a loooong ways from .444 and not to mention your duration is tons more than his stock cam. That adds up to a sh*t more hp.

true ...btw i just got off the phone with rick anderson....bs'n and what not..anyways get rid of that intake...he was not impressed with it.

i'm going with a holleyII...also he said yes about the meters tricking the puter with the voltage...so if anybody is interested in my rpm i'll sell it for 300 bones.

Was just driving it around............

went to down shift into 2nd at about 30mph and popped the clutch and floored it.

gave a HUGE lunging hesitation and backfired.........

put it back in 3rd, accelerated normal, no probs.

WTF happen there?

Still sucking a lot of oil into upper intake thru PCV too.

no it doesnt have a baffle for the PCV system,

Tuner said to just get an air/oil seperator on there.

think it took a big ole gulp of oil when I shoved all that air thru there?

Sucking oil via the PVC is a common aftermarket intake problem. I still have to deal with mine as well :sigh:

As to why your car "coughed"; what rpm did you dump the clutch at? To what rpm did the motor pull down to?
