Ok ! Ive been thinking about putting some fat tires on the back of my 88 LX 4 LUG car but i wanna go very wide at least 12 inches and dont wanna go over a 16 inch rim , is this possible and i am willing to Cut metal if i have to. I do wanna it to look sporty as possible low profile tires would be cool. So any advice or experience anyone?

245's out back are probably the widest you could go....take out the quad shocks and umm...275's ??

Thanks B? Anybody else and any suggestions on rims , i want Weld drag lites but i am always up for some ideas.

i got 15x10s on back with hoosiers tires there for drag racing you want street tires right??i have no idea then im a drag man if you want some stickys..

Welp, from what I hear.
You can run an 11.5" tire if you flip your quad shock around.
Which I'm going to try soon

Cool i think 11 inch would be cool or even 10s with some fatter tires just know i want some meats. And yea NOS im gonna use them for street and strip maybe some Nittos 555rs . ty

How much power you running? My dad's Z06 Corvette has 405hp, and has 295s in the rear. I have 245s on my Stang, and am very little traction ilmited. I am gonna get 275s, should be fine, thats more than another inch on each tire.

Well im stock HP . But the car wont be here forever but the car will have 350 rwhp this summer and 460 rwhp with the juice.

i have 255 45 17 on the back of my 88 gt. there is about a inch or so of clearing still there from the shock.prolly night be able to go to 265 or maybe 275 but im not sure. i know 255 fits though
