valve cover gasket and intake leak!
How hard is it to change a valve gasket, mines leaking along with my intake leak.
and with the intake leak, its the upper to lower and when i take the gasket off, is there a certain way to do it?
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS
would that be the right kit in order to change my intake leak?

RE: valve cover gasket and intake leak!
Just go to auto zone and buy felpro valve cover gaskets(comes with 2 gaskets) and a intake gasket set comes with all the gaskets you will need to remove the intake)
When I remove gaskets I use a straight razor of a gasket scraper. On the intake, be careful to not dig into the aluminum. After the gasket is off I will lay a file flat on it to smooth it out. The lower intake gaskets will line up with the head gaskets on the bottom corners. Also, I like to use some high tack on those gaskets to hold them inplace and help them seal up. You also might want to get a fuel line tool to disconnect the lines so you can take the whole lower off without a big mess. Umm, I think that is all, if you can understand my word jumble..

Oh, and on the lower intake to the block, don't use those rubber peices, use black RTV. If you only want to replace the upper gasket, that gasket set you have picked out is just for the lower to the block.
