RE: I might get a grand national
they are V6's not V8's
If it's a GNX is belongs in a garage under a cover because new they are worth 40k (back in 87) and today they are worth anywhere from 60k to 6 figures
If it's a t-type (only other turbo'd GN) its not intercooled and probably slower than your GT

RE: I might get a grand national
its probably not a gnx. they're hard to come by. but
a grand national is still one hell of a car. its a turbo 231 cubic inch v6. you think your mustangs are easy to upgrade? these are just as easy but a little more pricey. they are bad bad cars. 7k for a GN is a pretty good price if its in good condition. i've seen them priced anywhere from 6 to 15 for decent looking ones that are bone stock.
if its a t type, 7 grand is a little high. there are way more turbo t's than there are grand nationals. t types arent intercooled, and uhh..some other subtle differences. mostly body stuff and interior stuff.
if you can get a gn for 7 grand, i say go for it. they are amazing cars and it takes very little to make them incredibly fast. i am a little bias on this topic though cause gn's are one of my favorite cars.
