Ok right now i have a 94 GT 5.0, and im thinking about buying a crate gt40 motor and a vortec super charger in it, ive got several opinions and ppl have told me that all that stock should put my car in the 450-465rwhp range, any of you guys done this?

Is the bottom end forged on these crate motors? That things gonna boogie down that track -- Kiss your stock trans good-bye!

I wouldn't bet on it, i'd invest in a tremec.

a stock T5 does good to support 320hp, let alone 500. Good luck with that, i say it might last a week if you take it above 4000rpm and are pushing it what-so-ever.

The pistons and rods are forged in the GT40 motors, the crank is stock cast which is fine. A block will bust along time before anything happens to the crank.

A tremec or a G-force tranny is going to set you back around $2,000-$2,300....welcome to fast cars
