I put Mobil 1 synthetic 10W-30 in my LX, Castrol 20W-50 in my SS, Rotella 15W-40 in my Powerstroke, and my wife's car came with oil so I don't put anything in it.

Knock on wood, it didn't find any leaks over conventional oil. I like it because it serves double duty in lubricating my motor and turbo.

I heard that synthetic oil causing leaks is a myth...

I use Supertech 10w-30 full synthetic, it's like $12 for 5 quarts so I think its easy worth it. Every time I change my oil it's almost as fresh as when I put it in. I think synthetic also does a better job of cleaning the engine over regular oil. If regular oil was so good why did they make synthetic?

while synthetics are suppose to clean better, my car burns too much oil to be able to change it in time, fresh quart, every 1000 miles baby, never needs an oil change WOOHOO!!!!
