My buddies were over this weekend and one of them is a die hard mitsubitchy eclipse driver... he was like dude stangs suck why would you have something like this??? (yes he feels the same way about camaro's and any other rear wheel drive car) so i went for a ride and was unimpressed by the eclipse even when he took off from a dead stop and the front wheels barked. When we got back i said ok my turn... we got in She roared to life and i took a run down the road and back to get her ready... Turned around got straight dumped the clutch both rear wheels break loose the car moves sideways alittle... to make a long story short he's looking for a mustang now lol

I beat my buddys in my moms 04GTP, he has a 90 lx manual with CAI and flows, took him buy about 1 car from a stop and about 1 and a half from a roll..The gtps are no joke espically the new ones with the 300hp engine

i went and saw one of my old friends today after he saw my stang pull up he was telling me how much they sucked at he would rather stick driving his 6 cylinder grand prix (that is falling apart) so finally i left his place but now i feel like i just want to knock him out

Yep, my friends 2002 Pontiac GTP stomped my Mustang for the longest time........by about 5 cars........until I sprayed on him.
His car on 20's posted 14.4's at the track with traction issues........Not bad for a V-6.
So I strapped the nitrous to the good ol 5.0 and now I run 13.9's all day long...(unless I miss a shift [sm=smiley35.gif])
He was really pissed after I told him that I am supercharging my Mustang this weekend.......

Also his car has a full exhaust, ram air intake, smaller S/C pulley, methanol injection, performance shift kit and a 2600 stall....and the best thing about his car is........he runs a half second quicker without his driver side head light. Plus his car is on 20's......those wheels weigh a ton and kill his gear ratio too......
My mustang was stock.....just a bbk 70mm tb, K&N filter, full bbk exhaust (with hollow cats), and complete drag suspension with 3.73's on street tires.
On street tires he would get me by 5, on drag radials 3/4's of a car...but I was leaving at 6000. I would launch and he would drive around me at the top.
With a little work they can scoot......ask my buddy in a 1997 cobra he walks on all the time...........
