Default Looking for cobra motor!!!!

hey guys i have been thinkin about putting a 32 valve cobra motor in my fox body. I know i have seen a website that sells wrecked mustangs, but i cant remember. If any of u guys know that website or one like it that would help a lot. If not does anyone know where i could find a nice cobra motor and trans? I have about 3000 to spend on this.

You can't do that swap for 3000 if you got the motor for free. You have to get a new tranny, computer, K-member, suspension, driveshaft, etc, etc, etc.

All I'm getting at is that you can't just buy the motor and tranny and expect it to work. You need a whole new Kmember and you'll have to fab some stuff up b/c the mod motors are a lot wider than a 302.

dont worry about the 32valve motor. They're are lots easier ways to make hp than swapping one of those in.

Do a 351W swap, the mounts are the same, your going to need a new oil pan, headers, and most people have to get a cowl hood to make the taller deck height fit.

Good luck though.

^+1 on the 351W, many parts are interchangable and will cost a lot less

ok i think ill go that way. it was my original plan...but then cobra motor popped into my head.
i have about 2500 to spend right now. if i bought a 351 shortblock would i be able to use my top end for now? i already have a cowl so that not a problem.
