I have 1.6 roller rockers on edelbrock performer heads, The stock valve covers dont fit, i dont think they clear, I need tall valve covers but that the filler neck is on the passenger side not the drivers, i had a set that were tall but the it didnt have a nect i placed a breather but it was on the drivers side and the breather was right under the intake manifold it was a pain in the *** to put oil in the car
help me out

Most of the time stock VC's will clear, if the baffle is modified.

Some people can just tap on the baffle and get clearance, others have to take more extreme action.

I had to cut my baffle out and use a die grinder to trim away the ribbing that the baffle mounts to.
Then I was able to bend a thin piece of aluminum flat stock as a new baffle.
It should be welded in place for best durability, but I just used JBWeld. It has held for a solid 10k miles.

Some folks have also used multiple valve cover gaskets to gain clearance.

On ours someone used a pair of Ford Racing covers and then used a 3/8" trickflow spacer. The oil fill is right behind the throttle cable bracket.
