Most of the time stock VC's will clear, if the baffle is modified.
Some people can just tap on the baffle and get clearance, others have to take more extreme action.
I had to cut my baffle out and use a die grinder to trim away the ribbing that the baffle mounts to.
Then I was able to bend a thin piece of aluminum flat stock as a new baffle.
It should be welded in place for best durability, but I just used JBWeld. It has held for a solid 10k miles.
Some folks have also used multiple valve cover gaskets to gain clearance.
