installing torque boxes is a PITA!!
yesterday, me and two friends started the install of my torque box reinforcements. took about 8 hours (including the breaks we took for dinner and to go pick some one up). the drilling took a longer then expected. i did a lot of the welding yesterday but didnt finish. the lowers have all the welding done and painted. i went today to finish the welds but was unable to finish because my argon bottle went empty so ill have to get it filled before i can finish it. thought you guys might like the pics incase your planning on doing this in the future
just need my locker for the rear and ill be ready for the track. hmmm.... 461rwhp (approx 530hp at the block), 3200stall, 3.73's+locker, on slicks and AOD tranny. lol dont think that tranny will last long. i have a friend who builds trannys so a performance aod with manual valve body will be coming soon i bet. just dont have $1200 to blow right now. hopefully the wider bands, new valve body, new case and new clutch discs (or whatever) i had put in will help this aod last a little longer

i dont have no pics. But i made my own plates (i only did the lowers), but making them and welding them in it took me alone about 4 hours to do it. But ive been a welding/fabricating for awhile now. So im pretty experienced. An empty argon tank isnt going to help you any either. lol
