Heres a tip...if your just doing a clutch, dont pull the motor. If your doing the H/C/I swap to, id pull the motor and clean everything up, maybe paint the block while its out, etc. That way everythings done and goes back in with one step. I mean if your doing the H/C/I swap, all the fuel lines, wireing harness, etc. all has to come out anyhow so id only pull the engine if your doing it all at once.
Ive done about 10-12 clutch jobs and theyre pretty straight forward. The quickest ive done one is in about 5 1/2hrs and the car was driving down the road. Get a manual, thats always a step in the right direction.
Good luck.

Well I'm not thinking about pulling the motor to do the clutch, I'm thinking about pulling it for the heads/cam and then the clutch would be a breaze. I am just not familiar with that part of the car...

Its the catted H pipes that aggrivate the **** out of me. [:'(], they're a bitch to get out and put back in with those damn cats on there. With my o/r H pipe i can pull and replace a tranny easily with the exhaust on, with X pipes you have to remove them from what ive found.....
THose cross members are a bitch [:@]

RE: Head/Cam Job, question...
what exactly do you have to unbolt to get the engine off the tranny? with the engine out will it be easy to do the throwout bearing/rear main also? (sorry prolly a stupid question)

RE: Head/Cam Job, question...
just your linkage, sensor or two, speedo cable, and 8 bolts...throwoutbearing is easy just don't try and put it on with greasy hands..broke the tabs once doing that....also change your 15 dollar pilot bearing also..
