Well I failed inspection due to VA cracking down on illegal exhaust. I bought the car with the o/r hpipe on it. So now I'm going to buy an xpipe with high flow cats so that I can be legal and not smell alot of fumes anymore because I DOUBT that is healthy whatsoever... haha.

I was ebaying and I came across this xpipe with cats by Pypes. Can you guys look at this auction and let me know if this is a good one to buy for the price? Also can it fit my flowmaster exhaust?

That looks like a great price, but if you don't mind used I have a Pace Setter H pipe with cats 2 1/2" I'd like to sell and I live in Virginia south of Charlottesville. I changed to long tubes and couldn't use it anymore.

looks like a good deal... is it a visual check or sniffer test? if its a sniffer just weld some cat cases over the x pipe, otherwise a high flow cat such as that one would work well. good luck

I think 7up meant to say that if it is a visual check then just weld on some cat shields.

i got my catted x pipe from e bay for 260 shipped, from classic mustang. You need to have a 2 1/2 inch exhaust to make it work.

well my car smells pretty rich, but i dont believe it is running rich, due to it never lags. so he jacked it up and looked under the car.

so my flows have to be 2 1/2 wide? i'll have to go out there tomorrow and check. thanks for the heads up... they should work, i mean the flows are pretty popular and its not custom or anything. just bolted onto an o/r h pipe.


so is this a good deal or should i look around. i'm 17 and 260 bucks is alot to me b/c i have car payments, gas and insurance on this bad boy to pay for. [8D]
