That's what he quoted me. He's giving me a break on just having the one repaired, since I just had him replace my clutch a month ago. If I want to swap them both out, he'll charge me the full rate of $80 per hour. I know, it sucks. Maybe I'll call around a bit and see what I can find. The truth is, I can't really even afford $100 right now, but I have no choice.

I know. And I would install them myself, but I haven't the time as I'm playing Mr. Mom right now. Out of curiousity, how hard is it to install some shorties?

I have done unequals in the past and they werent hard at all... I am waiting to try and tackle my equal lengths, not sure how hard its gonna be, my motor mounts are sagging somewhat and i hear that makes equal lengths much harder to install but i guess i will find out soon enough.

Thanks Red. I'm still tossing around the idea of going aftermarket and installing them myself. It's just that the idea of getting out of this jam for $100 is very appealing right now. How long do you think it will take me to install the unequals, assuming that I'm handy with a wrench? Will I need to lift the car much?

Thanks 5.0. I once changed a header on my old Integra GSR. It sucked. So I imagine that changing the GT headers won't be fun. I just want to know if I'm gonna be cursing to save Jesus the whole time. I guess I can tolerate 2 hours of just about anything though. Now it all depends on how quickly I can get some aftermarket jobs. If I can't get them for a few days, I may just have the old one repaired. Thanks for helping me decide everyone.

Dude...if you're that strapped and can only muster 100 bones....get some good used bbk's on ebay. You get good headers and install them yourself for free. It'll only take a couple of hours.
