Ok, yes I did a search, and I know its already been discussed a bunch of times, but I have a few questions in regards to convering a car to Mass Air. My car is an '87 GT 5-speed. If I was looking for factory stuff, by this I mean the sensor itself and the wiring, can I only use those from Mustangs or can they be used from other vehicles? A guy told me I could use everything from a 5.0 HO Cougar. I bought a "wire" from ebay- not here yet- guy says I can use it to convert, but it's not the harness, just the wire with the plug. Would a sensor from a Crown Vic work? I basically am looking for compatibility of parts, and what might work. Excuse my ignorance, I am new to Mustangs, and please don't think I'm trying to be cheap, just right now I am spending my budget on other things that I need- exhaust, brakes, etc..... Just thought if I sourced out the right parts and computer I would do the swap. Thanks in advance.
