ORIGINAL: 93 LX FiveO

ive had mine about a year

ive only put $4 into it for an air filter

could use:
- rearend rebuilt (posi still works tho)
- shift kit / stronger bands
- new driveshaft
- new suspension

NEEDS:
- gas tank
- filler neck
- brakes
- fuel injectors
- tps sensor

INVESTED:
- $4 air filter

i baby the hell out of it
if thats babying a car? id hate to see how u treat a car u dont like, ive had mine since january and ive never had no problems with it, of course when i got it i did a complete tuneup, oil change, fuel filter, injectors, new gaskets, brakes, spark plugs, cap & rotor.

I've only had my 93 for about two months now but so far everything has been 100% perfect except for a bad cat. NO idling problems, shaking, vibrations, etc.

SO FAR SO GOOD.....

*saying that with my fingers crossed*

what do u mean its 13 years old, 156k miles and dosnt smoke.

ALL those issues were there before i even stepped foot into the car.

driving a year with those issues and ONLY those issues i say ive done well.

any other teenager would have drove this car into the ground by now.

Well, it is a ford.

I just rolled over 136,000 miles and the only thing I had to do to it in the few months that i've owned it was tighten the starter. Hopefully nothing gets messed up on it because it's my DD.

DD Mustang = [sm=smiley21.gif]

I just cant afford the gas... even though it gets the same gas mileage or better than my 00 Intrepid I feel like Im wasting alot more cause its a way smaller tank and its loud which makes it seem like Im wasting more also lol haha

mine has not put me without a ride since ive owned it feb 06' i drive it pretty much everyday but it does have a 7200 mile engine also. look at it this way once a part is replaced the car is that much more reliable IMO.

^^^^^ Thats exactally how I think of it. If I ever have extra money (which I dont) I just replace stuff even if its not broke. Its basically just waiting to be broke and Ill save myself the agrivation when it does by doing it before lol
