I dont see how you could have gotten a loan on the car w/o full coverage... this case is an example in point... double check...

so i live in northfield, minnesota and yesterday there was a huge storm that came through. I was at work with my car parked outside on the street...the storm came and with the storm was hail. the hail started out golf ball size, then to tennis ball, then to baseball, and finally a softball... I wanted to move my car but i think i woulda gotten killed by a piece of ice trying. so i watched my car get demolished from a window inside. After the hail stopped i walked to my car very slowly (Luckily it was raining so no one could see my tears). There were 3" diameter dents every where. the windshield was smashed, the rear hatch glass was cracking and rain got inside the car.. i've owned this car for about a month and just finished ripping the motor out and fixing leaks and basically freshening it up. I turned sixteen august first so i've been driving the car for about 20 days. I just made my first loan payment on it which takes up all my money for the month and to top it all i can't do anything about fixing it or even buying a new mustang being i didn't have comp. insurance. so now i gotta piece of crap mustang that looks like it got chicken pox. if you wnat i can post pictures of it. thats one less mustang on the street

That sucks! Well if the body you feel comes out to be to expensive to fix save your money and buy a 4 banger notchback or a Fox body thats not running and just transfer your motor and other stuff onto your one you bought. Just a thought! Well good luck I know I would hate that to happend to me.

Its called a signature loan... You sign using your name as colatoral instead of the car... Technically the car isn't collatoral on the loan so you dont have to have comprehensive ensurance on the vehicle... But if you faulter on the loan they will still reposes the car and you have a higher interest rate...
