Default NEED HELP PLZ !!!SURGE PROBLEM!!!

Ok so i dont have a mustang but i have a 1987 pontaic trans am GTA, i have a surge problem while im driving or setting stopped in gear it does not do it in park or neutral. It surges about 300 rpm and its driving me crazy. I have changed plugs put diff gas in it, it has new MAF and new tps oww sryy car is 350 tpi with 700r4 tranny!!! What do u guys think the problem is dirty injectors, 02 sensors, plug wires, tranny goin bad idk what do u all think.

is the car stock? if not what mods? is this problem new or started after mods installed?

Car is stock, all i have done is change tps, MAF, wires, plugs, oil

Did you adjust the tps properly? I am not 100% sure if the the engine schematics are the same. But whenever I have a surging problem I reset the base idle (procedure) and it runs like a champ after! As well you always want to double check the firing order if you changed plug wires. If you need to know more about base idle check the tech articles at the top of the forum, as well the procedure for adjusting the TPS is there.

i'm not very familiar with your car but i would think it's the Idle Air Control valve. May be surging in nuetral or park just not noticable. may trying cleaning the IAC with some carb cleaner or something similar.

also, not to question your mechanical skills or anything, but did you disconnect the battery when changing the tps and/or maf? if the computer was not reset that could be the cause of your problem.
