You said it not me, you need to leave make-beleive land for a little while. BTW ALL of my cars are street legal, the 5.0 above is street legal also. I know this is just the INET but you sound like the king of all ricers to me, and if by age 26 you are still this ignorant about cars, there is no hope for you. Uh My turn .. Not saying my STOCK mustang can out run a tt anything but MY 88 LX Mustang runs 14.022 @99 mph. It has headers" whew" and AC and smog pump. So please dont say anystock stang couldnt handle it. And if you need proof go to www.gignchips.com and click on mustangs on the left and watch the video of it. And to the guy who owns this 300Z TT , first off you say you have a stage 3 in saying that are you bone stock anymore? So why would a mustang owner be ignorant to try and run you? They dont know if your stock and you dont know if they are stock. And 5.0/4.6 are King of the road in my opionion!! Mustangs are still standing and more popular today then ever. All have fallen to the road side. From Camaros to your 300 Z. Mustangs are the level to meet or beat . Im not bashing my Camaro guys cause i love them but they arent around no more "meaning production".Mustangs out sale all muscle cars and the Cobra is the KING OF THE ROAD in america. Yes im know there is modded cars that can beat it but over from mods to production mustangs are the best. So we carless if you hate mustang guys or our cars from a 4 cyl to the mighty 4.6 Cobra. So next time you hear a mustang reving next to you dont be scared to get ur Butt whipped. Cause you never know.. mdvaldosta im not attacking you with my numbers just saying some stock stangs can pull out freak numbers.

There are plenty of American Cars that are faster then the 04 Cobra

Of course their are faster stock cars that a GT, like the viper, corvette, the camero's and firebirds were faster. But in the end the Mustang still outsells and will likely outlast them all (will be close with the vette though). And yea once again that TT lover really has his wires crossed.

And the guy with the 300z TT you go ahead and rice your car with a 4 ft spoiler and everything but there are also those 50 state legal parts you can buy and woop the **** out of your car. If you READ what I wrote, I said that a 302 is a 4.9, as in a tenth of a liter smaller than a 5.0. It's not a 5.0. Nor did I say ANYWHERE that it's a 4.6. There's a big difference between a 281 and a 302. You want a true factory 5.0, buy a Chevy 305. Not that you'd want it anyway, but if you do the math you'll see. Why is it that the 302 Explorer window stickers said 4.9L v8? Because it is.

mdvaldosta .. you knew what i was trying to say. I dont put vette in there cause they cost way to much and dont sale even a portion of what mustangs do. There are more then 1 way to being King of the Road. Sure you can go get a ZO6 and beat a stock Cobra but i bet you could mod a cobra and still be far cheaper then a ZO6 and have simialr and better performance. Heck The Cobra with some upgrades from ATI or a turbo they are getting close to 1000 Hp with stock bottom end. Dude you gotta tip ur hat to that. I have never owned a 4.6 But ford has out done itself. Sure there are cars faster then mustangs but think about it everyone measures up to a mustang everyone its like if you beat one you have made ground in the fast lane. Thats why so many other car drivers come here and read this forum and argue with us lol . Even when i owned a trans am i measured off the 5.0s. And tell me how many cars are faster then the Cobra? Leave out the ZO6 and tell me What brand new cars are faster in america. We talking American cars so dont go grab Europes super cars . Sorry I don't measure anthing of off any stock car, it would be like beating up a kid in wheelchair. What are oyu talking about it takes a turbo or a s/c to meet the standard of a 4.6, LS1's flat out embarrass them, and the SS/WS6 cars are near Cobra times. The reason the Mustang sells so well is the V6 cars, they are everywhere. Don't get me wrong I like stangs but they are not the end all be all of the perfomance car world.
