dont bother with a junkyard 351w... get one from here and do an H/C/I on it... should get good HP with a good tune and the right parts

Uhhhhh.... that's REALLY cheap for a 351 shortblock... not to mention a roller at that... I can't help but wonder why is it literally $1500 cheaper than the cheapest one summit offers...

I really have an issue with everyone attitude when i mention a remanufactured shortblock from ebay. When someone says they wanna run a 351w in their car everyones first piece of advise is to grab one from a junkyard.
So you go grab a motor from the junkyard. You have no idea what the maintainence history is, or what the statistics are on the motor. Has it ever been overheated, was it ever run lean, are there deposists on the valves. You just spent $600 on a motor, which the most you know about it is that the thing cost you $600.
send it to the shop, get it rebuilt... 1k later
so now you have spent $1600 on a rebuilt motor
OR.....
Grab this one which is a hell of a deal, spend $900 with free shipping and get a 12 month warranty.
hrm... I think your head would have to be awfully far up your *** to get this one wrong.

T&L engines makes a very good stroker kit COMPLETE for $4K. You can look at the engines for sale on ebay or go to their website. I think its TandLengines.com. If thats not it just do a google search for them. They make motors for some NASCAR teams from the Craftsman Truck, Busch, and Nextel Cup. Check them out. Once my loan is paid off, Im getting the 550HP 427 Stroker they have.
