Default Combo

How you guys doin? Im new to this board and im looking for a new setup to dip into the 11s on motor. The combo i have have know is a pretty much a stock 302 with 1.7 rockers ignition 150 shot(dry) tremec tko 3550 and a gear and im just going under mid 12s. I want a good solid setup with stock bottom end and iron headed on motor to dip into the 11s. Any body with this kinda combo or knowledge of one?

People probably aren't responding b/c questions like yours are covered all the time. Try using the search function before posting...it'll earn you brownie points.

What gears are you running? You said you want an iron head setup....does that mean you want to keep the stock E7's or just don't want aluminum? Look into a set of GT40's from a cobra or early explorer. They are usually pretty cheap used, have larger valves, and flow better. The stock heads are the biggest restriction, so any replacement will be an improvement. Look at a cam (E cam, B cam w/ 1.7's, or TFS stage 1) and an intake (TFS track heat or Eddy RPM2). I don't know what other mods you have done, so I don't know how helpful that is.

Full exhaust (header to muffler) is good for 20-25 hp
Larger MAF and CAI or K&N is good for a few more and help throttle response
H/C/I (using GT40 heads, one of the above mentioned cams, and one of the above intakes) should be good for 30-50 at the wheels depending on your current setup

EDIT: I'm not sure about times, but the mods I listed should be enough to break high 11's from where you are now.
