Default Nitrous noob questions....

So I've never really agreed with nitrous, but I have realized its one of the cheapest ways to get HP. I have a bunch of questions though....

1) How much will a good kit cost?
2) How long will one bottle fill last?
3) Should a wet or dry system be run?
4) What kind of shot is completely safe to run on a 5.0?
5) What is a good kit?

Thanks for any answers guys!

1) I got my ZEX #82023 kit for $495.95
2) How long are you planning on holding the button?
3) Wet is easy to tune as it has its own fuel supply.
4) basic practice is a 75 shot... although a 100 runs fine on my 152k mile motor
5) Zex, NX, Compucar, Dynotune (i like the zex b/c it runs off the TPS.

for number two probable a few seconds.

I know that running lean is a big problem with nitrous...how much would revamping the fuel system for nitrous cost and what would it involve?

yes, 75 shot is safe with a stock motor. I got a 200shot on my 357 but my motor was made to handle it

Usually the standard #10 bottle of nitrous will supply 1-1/2 to 2 minutes of operation at WOT. This varies though on jet sizes and on which system you decide to use.
