i wanna do gears and a limited slip rebuild in my mustang. i got a built 306 with aluminum heads and i use it mostly for racein at the track and cruisin around. what do yuo guys think is the best gear to go with?

Is it an auto or manual? If you dont mind the gas and it suits your car than go with the 4.30's without a doubt.

4.10's if you have enough room on the tach to get the full 1/4 mile, how many hp are you running.

its a 5 speed and i ran 14.0s with 273 gears at 105mph

Look, the bottom line... you wanna cross the finish line (1/4 mi) at aboot 6K rpms in 4th gear...

Yea, he's right. Try to figure out where your at, cause you dont want to have to go to 5th, thats going to kill your times if you have to shift to 5th gear.
