justa wondering which will make more power

afr 165, tfs stage 2 cam and a holley systemax
or
twisted wedge heads fts stage 2 cam and a holley systemax

or should i go with afr 185

 

oh nevermind um they look all the same power wise. So whichever you like better

 

they will make about the same power

185's un-needed unless stroking or adding s/c

 

I would go with the TW's just because they are a little cheaper and they have tons of room to grow.

 

+1 on the TFS heads. I like em better than the AFR's. And as for port size, it basically works like this - the smaller the runner the more torque it will produce. the bigger the port the more horsepower. As for which head 165cc or 185cc, its up to you really. 185's would be good if you upped the compression to about 11:1 or if you plan on running your motor to the higher RPMs (7k+), if you plan on leaving it stock then the 165's would do just fine.

PS: The twisted wedge head has a 170cc runner, and teh TFS high port head has a 192cc runner.
