well to say the least I have a trusty ol 5.0 that seems to to do well for its self I can list any mods because everyting about the car is an unknow around here and I know of a few people that would kill to know whats under the hood although most don't know who I am on here yet but if they do sorry no info.........with lost of power and confined to run d.o.t tires (street class) what does it take to get a 60 foot time I have drag shocks and lakewood bars the rear end doesn't slip either my best 60 foot time is a 2.02 on drag radials the car did much better stock thats before engine work

What year stang? Do you have lower and upper control arms on it? Air pressure ?Ar ethe shocks on the front or rear or both? also Auto or Standard

Also does the class allow any DOT tire? or just DR's? Cause the ET Street and Quick Time Pro are considered DOT. If you have to run a DR I would use a bfg, and the older it gets the better it will hook. Give more info on you chassis set up, more details, like is the car spinning or do you hook and just have a poor 60', what is the pinion angle set at?

the front suspension is untouched the rear has drag shocks ang the lower control arm were replaced with lackewood bars the upper control arms are stock not sure of pinion angle the car spinns bad 1st and 2nd startes to hook in 3rd i run the 1/8 mile finishing in 3rd gear at 6000rpms at 87mph my time is down due to spinning the first 100 feet the car is a 5 speed it is 1991 gt i am using bfgoodrich tires i went as low as 12 psi up to 30 psi no noticable difference as far as the class goes i am a little unsure i think it is just d.o.t. approved tires also i am running a 3.73 gear

If its any DOT tire, get a pair of Hoosier Quick Time pros, get your pinion angle set (2*-3* down) and you should see a big difference
