Default Rev limiter

does a sn95 have a rev limiter on it? Its an AOD=E.

I am having an issue right at 5500 RPM. The motor bogs down for a second and then shifts? Any ideas?

Mine has a rev limiter... but it doesn't sound you are having a problem with that.

What gear does it do it in? Do you have a shift kit or something in it? 5500RPM is pretty high for an AODE to shift with no shift kit, unless you are going through the gears manually. This is at WOT I assume?

Samseed.......I put 4.10s in it. I bought the car with a transmission issue and have since had it rebult. It still shifts funny (early) and think they have an after market valve body in it.

It shift at 5400 usually but now its getting a little above that.......this is at WOT

Shifting around 5400 RPM or so sounds like something it would do with a shift kit or a different valve body in it. Are the shifts firm or does it feel sluggish/ What exactly does it do before it shifts? Any chance you're running a little lean towards the higher RPMS and starving it of fuel?
