I have BBK progressives. They ride hard, but if you want a handling ride, then this is the ticket short of buying huge swaybars.

I never scrapped the gas tank either. The axle sits far lower then the tank.

Make sure you get the little bump stop for the axle, and the bump steer bushings for the rack and pinion. This way your car will ride right. Then you'll need the caster camber plates for a real street performance allignment. I have those as well and it does nice on the anchient 15" wheels I have.

A lowered Mustang just looks right to me. It looks so much nicer. A stock ride height Mustang looks sloppy going down the road, but that's just me.

I have a 2' drop i the back and a 2.5' in the front and it rides rough as hell but also the roads in michigan are not the greatest and i bottom out quite a few places but my exaust will hit and scrape before anything else.

Here's a ground shot of the back of my ride. I've caught a pipe clamp once, but that's because the manhole cover I drove over was on a road that wasn't finished, so it stuck up above the pavement a bit. Still it only barely tweeked the 1 side of the clamp.

If you want a nice low drop that looks sexy as hell but still rides extremely well with aftermarket struts/shocks i HIGHLY recommend the H&R SuperSport Springs, it's an advertised 1.75"/1.6" drop but I think it's more than that, but I just installed them and i LOVE how my car sits...
