Default Kenne Bell 2.2

I have been fighting on wich s/c to get an i think i have made up my mind with the Kenne Bell 2.2, any down side to them ? *besides keeping tread on the tires or is the VORTECH SUPERCHARGER better???

they recently dropped the 1.5's and now make nothing but the 2.2 "Blowzilla" style compressor.

no downside, you wont make the top end power with a KB you could get from a Vortech or such
but you'll have more off the line torque and boost.

They used to make a 1.5L and a 2.2L, now they only make the 2.2L for the 5.0

he could buy a used one. The 1.5L was 6-9psi and the 2.2 is up to 18/21 psi depending on pulley setup...

kenne bell s/c can not be run on a motor spinning past 6500 rpms.... or atleast thats what the guys from ASM performance claim.

Ask Kenne Bell. They Know their product better than anyone. I have never had to go past
5500 rpm's (Even before I had the KB).
