yeah i have an 87 5.0 and i put all Mac offroad exhaust, underdrive pulley's, 3:55 gears, mac cold air intake, flex fan, subframe connectors, beefy suspension, high quality racing wires and plugs, 3 row radiater, along with putting in a 160 degree thermostat and it flies. its more than enough to start on and all together for probably a grand. i'm fixing to put on a new intake manifold i'm not sure which to get though. any help would be appreciated. i'm told either edelbrock, or a gt 40

OK Well, I didnt realize you were that young either. We cannot tell you what to do with your car and how to drive it BUT just be safe if you do decide to put tons of work into. I had my 88 GT with a decent amount of mods (rebuilt trans, shift kit, 2800 stall, cai, pulleys, edelbrock u/l manifold, bbk 70mm throttle body, bbk egr, mac lt's, mac prochamber, flowmasters, wires, etc.) for my first car and almost crashed it twice in the rain in the first week.

and thanks 88BlueGT i know what you mean, lot of "kids" are really dumb drivers and start shifting in the red rpm's and smashing down the street thinking ooh i got a badass machine, then blow their tranny or lose traction and totally blow it. ive learned to treat any car like a husband would treat a wife

You may not want to hear it, but I think you are getting in way over your head. You're 15 with VERY limited knowledge, yet you are ready to try to install gears, Cam, heads, intake, nitrous, and a supercharger. Nothing good can come from this. You have to start slow and work your way up. You just can't bolt all those on and expect them to work with no problems. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say you probably don't have the ability or the tools to tune the car yourself even if you did manage to get these installed.

Okay, so you changed plugs and you were driving at the age of 13... that's really not that great of an accomplishment and its a FAR cry from doing what you want to do now. Hell, I flew planes before when I was 12...that didn't mean that I was ready to become an A&P mechanic and pilot three years later.

And stealing a "lot" of cars isn't something I would really brag about. Is that supposed to make us think you are badass or something? Stealing cars certainly doesn't mean that you are all of a sudden a great driver and mechanic.

So you go out and steal the stuff that people work hard to get? I highly doubt you will get many people here that would support stuff like that or support people that do that. I'm pretty sure everyone here would be pissed if you tried that with their car.

Bottom line...you're trying to do too much at once and really don't have the slightest clue. You'll end up either blowing an engine from running too lean or you'll end up smashing into something. It sounds like you're trying to go from stock to 500+ HP overnight with no idea how to do it. What good can come from that?

^^ 500hp if he does it right lol

So what, I tried it! Yes, nothing good came out of it and I ended up loosing like five thousand dollars but with the help from us he might be able to pull it off. Im sure he doesnt have 20K sitting around so he will be doing it one step at a time. Thats what we are here for..... GUIDANCE! LoL

And yes, that picture was great for the moment. Ive been wanting to post that for like 6 months now lol
