Hey fellas... i have my 87 pony with a rebuilt aod with heavy-duty clutches, shift kit, and about 2 put in a 3,000 stall torque conv. but i heard i will need an tranny oil cooler..? if it is true, dont i already have one..? if i need an additional one witch one should i get..?
You have one that is built into the radiator on the car stock. The best thing to do is to buy the biggest one you can fit and mount it on the front of the radiator.
No what we done with a friends mustang was just used the factory lines but disconnected them from the factory cooler and hooked the new cooler to them from there.
Yeah we just plugged the holes in the radiator. He got the cooler from autozone I think it was the biggest one they offer it said on the box it was made for a RV.
well ive decided what im gana do..! first imma order a temp gauge before changing the cooler that way i would b able to c the differnce..! thanz for the help.. it realy makes me wanna go do this right away!
