the fuel pump relay is under the drivers seat. On 94 and newer its on the fender well. If the fuel pump still comes on when you pull the relay then either you have a short sending power to he pump or someone ran a new wire and bypassed the relay

ok so then i did find the right relay. is the fuel pump supposed to run for a second or two when you first turn the key on or run constantly. mine runs constantly.

its supposed to turn on for a sec or two and then shut off, then when the car fires up it runs again. It sounds like someone before you just wired it up to the ignition to where when the key is on, so is the pump

so, would that "trick" the computer and make it run at a high idle (1500 - 2000) ?
