Two Question 351w
I know someone selling a 351 block for $170 it will need some very minor machine work, its mostly a bare block, is this a good deal? And how do I determine if it is a 351 windsor?

RE: Two Question 351w
I would not pay that much for a 351W block. I have seen people sell them on here for $50 bucks before and I can get one from the junkyard already pulled for about a hundred (thats a shortblock also). Also, is should be stamped somewhere on the block that would either say W or C or the full name.... not sure. If you get the casting number im sure you could tell from that.

RE: Two Question 351w
What year, the roller blocks would be worth about $200, but theyre not as strong as a block from 1969-1974, but those arnt roller blocks. Tell the guy youll give him $80-$100, but go look at it first. If its a roller block or a 69-74 block, its probably worth $100-$200, but its needs to be a standard bore, i make it a personaly standard of mine to never buy a bored block, you never know the condition of them till you have them sonic tested. Sometimes people will tell you its a standard bore, then you have it sonic checked or you mic it and it turns out to be thirty or fourty over.
