Default How much can my GT take?

What I mean is, should I feel guilty everytime I push the gas down more than halfway? Am I gonna break it?

By the way, I don't do burnouts (except when trying to accelerate in first gear, as my tires suck!), and I don't hit redline very often. In fact, I generally don't go above 5500 rpms. Most of the time, I just drive it like a normal car. But every now and then, I like to drop the hammer.

All cars are different.

Personally, everytime I back her out of the garage, I smack her around like a dirty girl, and she likes it.

i think 5.0's are one of the most tough built engines out there. they were built to be a muscle car so obviously needs to take a pounding! but yet again driving her as a daily driveer always in the 5k really doesnt help the fact that ure gonna keep it longer then you think. put it this way if you treat her nice she'll return the favor. Just ask your wife
