Default Fuel Pump running constantly

My fuel pump constantly runs while the car is running and is very noisy, I know it's not supposed to but does it require replacing or something else...any info will help.

Yeah it shouldn't really be loud, you might look into getting it replaced soon.

Why replace it when it still works? replace it when it stops working... Who cares if it's noisy? Just check the pressure and make sure it's still pumping enough fuel

They are noisy from the factory but not supposed to be that loud. If you just turn your car one click (not starting the car) you should be able to hear it kick on, etc. but you shouldnt be able to hear it while driving, etc. Atleast I cant.

If you're going to replace it, just do it yourself. If you plan on increasing the hp in the near future, go with a larger unit like 190 or even a 255 if you plan on some serious fuel needs.
