3.73 gears, under drive pullies, headers, off road h-pipe, would be the best start.. around $600

maximum motorsports subframes, FRPP 3.73 gears (no computer mods needed, justa $12 recal gear for the speedo cable), Lentech Valve Body (dont waste your money on a shift kit), full exhaust system (shorty headers, h pipe, and tuned cat back), advance timing (12-14*), from there depending on your mechanical ability and cash flow you can dig into more suspension upgrades and h/c/i combo.

PS: underdrive pullies are a waste of money, only gain a few horses and are a pain in the can

right now I am in the same boat as you are. The first thing I went with was a short throw shifter. I figured no matter how I drive it, I'm still going to use it everyday to its full potential. The next upgrades is going to be gears, debating between 3.73 and 4.10' s, nitrous, and subframe connectors. I'm figuring these are going to be the best bang for my buck. Listen to these guys. Most of the them know exactly what there are talking about.

by the way. I already had exhaust when I bought it. You'll need that to make the ladies smile.

Thats some cheap *** parts right there all that for $600? [&:]

Gears installed with a good installation kit alone will cost that....

And if he goes with a catback like SLP or something theres $500 bones. It depends on what brand you go with....
