I would piece together a h/c/i setup with a custom grind cam and a novi 1000 with power pipe and 8' crank pulley. That would run you about 2,200 and you will have 8-9 psi.

Ohhhhhhhhh alright get the injection kit! LoL Im not exactally sure how it works because I have never really looked into it but I remember reading about it when it first hit the market a while back. There are loads of people on here who run it with success though so I guess it could definetly be worth looking into. If anyone wants to shed some light on this please feel free because Im sure we would all like to hear about it........

It's a simple device really. It has a switch on it that activates it at a certain boost level. In my case, it activates it at 5 PSI. As it activates, it pumps the water / methanol solution and atomizes it while spraying it into the intake. This has a two-fold effect, where it lowers the air temperature as well as increases the octane of the gas you are burning. As you know, cooler air = more power. And with the higher octane, you get more resistance to detonation. So this will allow you to be a lot more aggressive with the timing.

And instead of buying methanol, just go out and buy -20 degree windshield washer fluid. It is already a water / methanol mix and is cheap. So it cost's next to nothing for a boost of 50 - 100 HP (depending on the tune.) Think of it as cheap nitrous, lol.

Ohh I didnt know that you already have this on your car. Did you have your car tuned for it?

I only kinda / sorta got it tuned. I have the car tuned with the procharger, but I didn't do anything too much with the timing. With the injections, I could run the timing way up there. Some people are running it deep into the 20's and I believe one person here is even running at 27* timing. But here's why I didn't go too crazy with it....

All is great as long as there are no problems. But can you imagine the problems if I somehow ran out and didn't notice? Or what about when a nozzle gets clogged or a line fails or the pump fails or anything. If that happens and all of a sudden I lose the cooling and I lose the 110 - 120 octane I was getting, can you imagine what would happen to the engine with 20+ degrees of timing with 93 octane on top of forced induction? LoL

Thats why I didn't get too aggressive with the timing and I am really using it to cool the air more than anything else. It still gives a performance boost, but it's not as hard hitting as it could be.

In reality, they are very reliable and don't have to be filled up nearly as much as you would think. But I didn't want to get too greedy anyway

Uhhhhh, 2200 for all of that? LOL. I think you hit the wrong button. It will cost 2200 for the h/c/i kit, and idk another 20000-3000? for the supercharger new. Unless there is something I'm missing?

That methanol injection seeems pretty damn cool though. I think I would give it a shot if I had an s/c car.

He's just talking about the supercharger. Novi 1000=$1800, Power Pipe=$130, 8" crank pulley=$200. That's about $2130. I would buy some bigger injectors though.

^^^ Yes, that it what I meant. Sorry, I wasnt really paying attention to what I was typing. Of coarse bigger injectors, fuel pump and other supporting mods. I was just giving an example.
