It will surge like crazy and die instantly, or if uyou hold it at 1800 rpms it will run for about 3-5 mins andd then all of a sudden just cut out and die. Right before it cuts out and dies the fuel pressure jumps up. What can i do??????? please help me

42# injectors seem like a bit much for your setup.

38 psi with vac hose unhooked?.....42's are a pain to tune with stock computer...i run 41 psi with my 24's

given the only diff i see with yours, and mine is 41 cubes your way,and also i have 18* timing.

i'd back off the psi a little, and see what happens...

i'm assuming your maf is calibrated to the 42's...but they are too big unless you're going to boost it. i too would lower the fuel pressure as a start, sounds like it's dumping. what happens if you start the car at wot....
