third break light?

Default third break light?

i was wanting to shave the luggage rack on my trunk lid off and didn't know for sure i would get a ticket for not having my third break light or do i need to come up with a new one some where on the back?

No, you dont need a third brake light. You will be fine ticket-wise without it

actually im pretty sure he will need one to pass inspection, so it could be some sort of violation, in fact I pretty sure I read somewhere the whole reason you have that luggage rack was b/c they made 3rd brake lights a requirment

I know I wanted to get rid of my third brake light but from what I was told is that if your car came with a third brake light it had to have a working third brake light. Whether its in the spoiler or in the car it had to work. But that's the law in Wisconsin I don't know what it is in other states.

It might- but it has to work with the brakes. Again I don't know what the laws are in your state. Maybe call your local police station to find out.

I know the reason for the third light is becasue Elizabeth Dole thought we needed one.
