well i have to get new rims one is bent (like then when i bought it) should i stay with 17 or 18? is there pros and cons? i also would like to get 280 or what ever is close to that any thoughts?? i dont know the difference is when they say 17x8 or 17x9?? whats that mean? and also what are the offset's?

Your speedo might be a teeny bit off if you change to 18". But not much at all. and 17x8 is 17 from the lip of the rim through the center to the opposite side, and the 8 is 8 inches wide. 9's in the back would be good, maybe even 10, but i donno if 10's would fit. Good luck, hope i could help

Im gonna say a 9 would be about ideal. I think i have a 245 on a 7 or 7.5" rim, but they are a bit wide for the rim. If you go to tire www.tirerack.com you can pick rims and tires, and they'll let you know what will and what wont work for you. They have really good deals too
