RE: notch hated compared to gt?
Most folks don't dislike notches. It is typically the exact opposite. I personally wouldn't own a fox mustang unless is was a notch (other than a Cobra/Saleen). To me, the more sedate a notch is, the better. Nothing is more sexy or sinister than a sleek notch with a mild cowl hood and big-n-little Bogarts.

You talking to me??? If so, THANKS! It's a 89. Here's a shot with the new stance (springs have settled a little more so it's got a little less rake than this now) and the new stickies.

RE: notch hated compared to gt?
When I was looking for a mustand the only thing I wanted was a notch. I even had to shell out some extra bones for it cause they are a little more rare up here.
I think they are alot more timeless in design than a GT or even a LX Hatch. They are also the most sleeper looking, they don't stand out as much. When you look at a GT you can easily see the 80's influence. When you look at a notch it's harder to tell the era it came from.
They are also stiffer and lighter.
If you really want a body kit for it the saleen kit is nice. It's not over the top and gives it just enough of a race look.
The biggest problem with the notch is that most people think it's a 4 cylinder, we'll that might be a good thing...
Anyways don't worry about it. They are becoming more popular and as time goes on people with appreciate the design even more.
