i have a 1987 ford mustang 5.0 and im tryin to convert it to mass air flow....i bought a 1992 mustang wire harness to do the conversion but the fuel pump gets no power....what do i do?????

 

I had the same problem on my 88... Youneed to use the harness that's corrently on your 87 and just the MAF sensor, and wiring harness not the whole engine harness off of the 92. I tried for hours to get it to work and had an expert mechanic aat a Hi-po shop doin it and we just used the MAF harness spliced into the existing Hartness and it works great.

 

Check our sticky page, there's an uploaded series of pictures that detail which wires you have to add... and off the top of my head I remember you have to do some stuff w/the fuel pump (which is obvious to you now), but again, look in the sticky section and you will find your answer
