not to play devils advocate, and feel free to just say shut up... but why are you blowing over turboing?

Also easier to upgrade the S/C if I ever want to.

What do you mean? To get more boost out of a supercharger you have to change pulleys. It's alot easier to change boost levels with a turbo.

Yea but even with a turbo you cant just run 5psi and than jump to 15... its not like that.

Also, I think he was saying that its easier to sc your car than do a h/c/i swap.... which I agree and I dont think there is anyone on here who will argue that one.

Go with procharger if you can, Vortechs are3 kinda loud, epsically the S trims. But if you mind the sound, Vortechs best for the price.

That was me trying to type too fast and not explaining very well. When comparing the install itself, I think it's a lot easier to install a S/C. Then if you ever wanted to upgrade and switch to something different, it's still easier and quicker. Depending on the boost levels, you don't have to worry about intercoolers (unless you want to) or messing with the exhaust, etc. Installing and later upgrading is a lot easier.

+1

Im pretty sure I will have no problem installing my blower whenever I get it but Im just worried about taping the pan... that seems like the hardest part.
my friend just s/c his 89 and tapping the pan was the easiest part, the hardest part was that he doesnt have a smog pumb delete pulley or whatever so he put the altenator in place and the blower was pushing a hose against it so he had to modify things a bit to get it in but now its good to go, he said that it would have been worth getting the smog pulley or atleast still having it but he couldnt wait a week so he did what he had to do

So just do what i did and get a procharger No tapping involved! only problem is I have to remove the damned thing every 6000 miles when it's time for an oil change. Anyone know of any easier way to access the damned thing so I don't have to remove it? LoL
