and what's the max hp it takes to crack a 351... i know a 302 is like 450-500 but yall say that a 351 is stronger so i was just wondering

EDIT: the reason i ask is casue i was thinkin about go junkyarding around and finding one... but then again it might be better to start from scratch with a DART block

No need, stock block and crank are good for 600+hp.

get forged crank if you're going to throw a ton of boost on there.

heard the stock 351W block is good for about 600rwhp and after that you're riding the line.

yea not really... plus i'd be paying for all the parts that i'll end up be taking out anways to make a stroker
