if the tube of sealant came with it then use that. once u take the old shifter off, make sure u take all the old sealant off with a razor blade so u hav a nice fit. then reapply the sealant and stick the shifter on. does that answer your question?

even your instructions say to use sealant. it prolly leaks a little because there is fluid in there...

i didnt use sealant... she rattles a little too, but i thnk its those damn adjustable stops, so far no probs w. out using sealant, but if something happens, ill use it. then again, im pulling the trans soon anyway so ifigured ill seal it when i put the trans back in. i love my pro50, your gonna love it man.

I didn't use sealant and it doesn't rattle. There is fluid in the tranny, but have you seen how small the holes are that drain from the shifter to the tranny? Not much chance of splashing and leaking unless you are one helluva crazy driver.

oh well, i saw the old sealant so i just put some more on, its pretty cool. the throws dont seem a lot shorter but its definetly easier to hit the gears, and the little stops are pretty neat so you dont "hyperextend" the shift fork.

i have nothing to compair it to but my stock shifter but i have no complaints at all.

thanks for the help everyone.
