Find out how many miles are on it....BTW, you won't be able to tell if it's really almost new unless you crack it open.

Hi guys - just found this forum. I was looking at doing my 2nd gear synchro, too. Go here to find the T5 service manual. Maybe you can get a feel if you want to do this or not.
