wat would headers do to my mustang i got a 91 5.0, its got a stock h pipe without cats and flowmasters

It'd add a little sound and few more ponies. They aren't too expensive, so go ahead and pick up a set and throw them on there.

They will open up your exhaust flow a little bit.... but than get restricted by your stock mid pipe. If you have money get a midpipe also.

Ah, I saw "without cats" and was thinking it was already an aftermarket piece. Definetely change the mid pipe as well. Heck, if your going to do that, put on some long tubes and a matching midpipe.

Im not sure of your setup but unless you are pushing 350hp its not recommended that you run LT's anyway. I would get a set of BBK shorties and a BBK O/R H or X pipe.... that will make your car loud enough.

how did a stock midpipe come without cats? mine had 4! Anyhow Equal length shorty headers and off road midpipe! You'll gain a few HP and greatly improve sound.
