Default help

i have a 95 5.0 cobra. i just bought it with 90000 miles on it. tune up has been done on it. it ran fine for 3 weeks but now every once in a while when im in traffic the idle becomes
erractic. and sometimes stalls. it only happens once in a while anybody have any helpfull info? could it be that im using 87 octane

could be you tps, throttle position sensor, or you idle air control. IAC. its on the throttle body on the side. take it off, unplug the connector and take it apart and clean it with throttle body cleaner and some q-tips. that should help. if not, see if your tps is out of adjustment.

saw the cable one the lower part of the throttle body assembly was broke, but didnt know what it was for. hopefully thats my tps. thank for the help if im wrong on what that cable is for please let me know and i will do what u suggested.

is your car an auto? cuz if it is that could be ur TV linkage and will destroy ur tranny quick. . .

the tps is on top of ur throttle body. it should have a wire connector on it and have about 4 inches of wire, or wire loom on it. it will be black plastic. will have 2 phillips headed screws holding it on to the tb.
