Default 95 gt gone to crap..help

man owning this car is diging into my pockets...first off im concerned with a vibration in my car, it vibrates in neutral, when driving in first gears is when its really noticeable. 3 gear can be really smooth, then 4th gear its horrible. when i advanced my timining this weekend you could see as the timing was advanced the car would shake less. but my timing is already really high and i get some pinging at WOT, not to mention i have pullies so i cant see what the timing is at??any ideas what this could be? im thinking flywheel, the clutch has a chatter when i let it out, also my car wont shift fast from 1st to 2nd, it will grind really bad, that im pretty sure is the throwout bearing.any ideas what the shaking might be? here are some pictures so you can see how s****y my car is under the hood...haha...

How about an overall shot or two of the engine? Just curious And it will give us a better idea of how dirty or bad it really is

WTF? you call that a dirty engine? That's pretty clean for a 95. but lets get to your problem... Where do the vibrations come from? As in front end, rear end, engine, wheels, etc. Does it get worse as your speed increases or does it get worse as your RPMs increase? (it actually makes a huge difference) Does it just vibrate or do you hear a sound too?

it gets worse as the rmps increase, its coming from the front cuz like i said it does it in neutral and if im cruzing as soon as i put the clutch it it will stop. its also in the steering wheel too.

Is the motor firing on all 8 cylinders?
How is the balancer? I see a little rubber squeezing out -- can you move the balancer ring by hand (seperate from the main part)?

You'll need a set of bushings for the struts -- probably should do struts at the same time, maybe get maximum motorsports caster camber, eliminating the need for bushings. Then, get an alignment.

Your idle vibration issue sounds like it's the balancer. When you set your timing, it could be way off if the balancer ring with the timing marks has spun.

Have you inspected your clutch, pressure plate & flywheel? Also, check your driveshaft as that could be an issue when the car is moving -- u-joints could be bad. Is there fluid leaking from your tailshaft housing? If so, it could be due to your DS vibrating -- it could kill the DS yoke.

That's about all I can think of for the moment. First two things, take a look underneath the car and tell me if there looks to be oil slung up in the tunnel and check out the balancer.

You should be able to see your timing becuase the timing marks are on the dampener, not the pulley.
