209 to the wheels! Damn, i heard it was more like 180 or somthin. I Read somewhere that some magazine dyno'd an auto 5.0 and it was lie 153. It might not have been HO though

I think r.barn made 218hp when his 5.0 was stock.

i believe a 95 cobra is rated at 240hp 285tq... i havent dyno'd mine tho so thats just what i have heard

Wow.. I wouldnt' think they would dyno so high at the wheels (well, I guess it's not high by todays standards, but...).. I would have figured 170ish at the wheels.. Very curious to dyno mine.. Once.. I put it back together, and assemble the car from scratch..

OK im going to say this agian
the 1993 mustang 5.0 was underated at 205 hp to make the newer 215 hp sn95 mustang look faster on paper. the 1993 is exatly the same as a 1992 or a 1991 yadda yadda. some changes were made to the fox mustang, like a very minute camshaft change in 1989, and a smaller throttle body by 2mm some time in the early 90's, and the change to lighter but less durable "hyper" pistons
the 1993 cobra, was factory rated at 235hp, but numerous dyno sessions have shown that cobras make that much at the freggin wheels!!! so thats about 270-280ish HP at the fly wheel!!!.....underated? YES!
stock 5.0s make about 180-190 HP at the wheels wich puts them right at about 225 hp like what ford says. LoL the f-bodys would make less than that at the fly wheel !!!
