i agree with you, but that thing was still crazy fast.

he was keeping the car right in its powerband though, i bet from a stop its nothing special.

i don't doubt that supra is 800hp as that is fairly common. i do doubt that it's a 9 sec supra because that's rare. there are many supra's that make a lot of power but run 12 sec 1/4 miles. mostly because supra's dyno graphs look like mount everast and they're tough to hook. an 800hp supra usually only makes that power for 1000rpms or so...that's why a car that makes 500+whp from 3500-6500rpms will beat a supra that make 400whp from 5000-6500rpm and 800rwp at 7000rpms. power under the curve wins

regardless very nice ride

btw...my stang did 138mph in the 1/4 about 150whp ago with only 2 passes (no cage = parked) we'll see how it does next year after a proper cage and possibly some supension changes (right now i have a full kenny brown setup designed for track racing and handling...not the best for drag but it's still good and it handles amazingly...especially for a fox)

i know the powerband isnt the best, but its still a fast car. 12.4 @ 130 mph!. if he could have hooked, that a 9 second car.

you guys should go to http://www.TurboMustangs.com

Go ravving about a 9sec supra there and your going to get b*tch slapped

I would be willing to bet there are probably 200 guys on that site that would rip that Supra a new *******...and for about $40,000 less. Not to mention all those guys do their own work, id love to see a common ricer boy under his TT supra welding up some duct work

Come'n...real men drive Mustangs.

I know there are faster stangs, its just crazy how that Supra pulls to 150, and it still had more. Mustangs just dont seem safe going 150+, specifically fox bodies.

Dont worry, I am NOT jumping on the Supra bandwagon, i am definately a mustang man.

Oh i see where your coming from, but if the mustang's body was a little sleeker and it have a 6th gear and it was a turbo'd engine, it would pull past 150 also. But the Supra is just so aero stable compared to the brick bodied mustangs. [:@]

But still, id rather have my stang.
