The frame connectors wont, mainly, those are just to stiffen the chassis, puts less strain on the chassis. Ive seen guys ripple their roofs and crack the windshild pillers because of to much chassis flex.



Get some slicks and a tranny break...then go have fun That would do wonders for your ET's.

Those are good tires, there are racing classes in which guys are running 9's on those ET streets. So they must be pretty good tires

Man.. i dont see where the 351m got it's bad rep from... they have a big block bellhousing bolt pattern right?.. ok.. slap a c6 tanny behind it and call it good.. or even a top loader 4-speed....the 351m heads are basicly leftover 351 cleavlend 2v heads.. check 'em out sometime if you ever get a chance.. same canted valves.. same intake port sizes.. and.. same runner sizzes.. valves are just a lil bit smaller though.. and.. if you want a tough as nails motor... the 351m is hard to beat.. they will almost not die.. i ran mine in my plow truck with no collant...4 quarts low on oil...then.. parked it.. let it sit for 3 years and didnt touch it while i was in school out west....came home.. poured some gas down the float vent.. put a new batterey in it...that thing fired up and purred like a kitten. gods honest truth.

but you guys are right.. they can be modded.. but parts are hard to find..and kinda pricey. Just my opinion.

hmmm i thought 4v and 2v referred to venturi. If you have a 2v you have a 2 barrel carb, and 4v a 4 barrel carb

thats true., But ford had different heads for the cleavland depending on if it had a 2v or a 4v.

351w to a modified Is great I gor my 351 bored out to a 357 comp cam lunati crank dart heads at idle my oil psi is 50psi and cruzin at 2500rpm s it like 65 -70psi so oiling is not a issue
